Meet Astrid

Astrid is a beautiful momma, inside and out. She is still a young cat at heart at only 2 years of age. As her second litter of kittens aged, she became very playful, curious and affectionate – having time to herself to finally express her own personality. She loves her scratching posts, feather wands and mice. Astrid is extremely gentle, polite, and loves to vocalize; she adores affection, turning onto her side for belly and under-chin rubs. Her purr is loud and strong. You can often find Astrid basking in the sun, taking in fresh air through the window screen, smiling out the window or in her sleep. She’s a lovely young girl who has had her final litter of kittens and deserves a furever home to land in after her years of living alone outside. She is such a gem and will make a lovely companion or addition to any home.

Astrid has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.

Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.

Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
