Meet Shyla and Shasta

Shyla (7 years old black & white) and Shasta (4 years old black) are a bonded pair of gentle souls looking for a forever home together. Life hasn’t been kind to them—they’ve come from a difficult family situation, leaving them shy and uncertain. Despite their fear, they enjoy gentle pets and can be picked up and held with care.

These sweet girls need a calm, patient home where they can heal at their own pace and finally feel safe and cherished. With time and love, they will blossom into affectionate companions. If you have a quiet home and a kind heart, please consider opening it to Shyla and Shasta by completing our adoption application.

They deserve a life filled with comfort, love, and the joy of being truly spoiled.

Shyla and Shasta have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and have received preventative flea and worm treatments.

CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.

Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.

Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
