CATS is a volunteer-based non-profit (registered charity) cat rescue, located in the Comox Valley. We advocate for and rescue lost and relocated cats, rescue stray and feral cats in need, monitor remote locations, help to reunite cats with their owners and provide loving homes or barn homes when needed.

To promote the welfare of animals for the benefit of the public by : Offering educational materials and workshops, rescuing cats that are lost, stray, abandoned, abused, or surrendered, managing an adoption program, and conducting spaying or neutering procedures for domestic pets, feral animals, and stray animals.
HELP US GIVE OUR CATS A SAFER, HEALTHIER START!
We need your help to bring stainless steel cages to CATS Rescue!
For seven years, we have made do with large dog crates in our arrivals intake and isolation rooms. They have served their purpose, but we know we can do better for the cats who come through our doors, many of whom arrive frightened, sick, or in need of special care.
It’s time for an important upgrade.
We are ready to invest in stainless steel cages that are easier to clean, disinfect, and sanitize. This is especially important when dealing with infectious diseases and outbreaks. These cages will allow us to provide a more hygienic environment and better protect the health of the vulnerable cats in our care.
Here’s what we need to raise:
* Stainless steel cages: $27,000
* Shipping: $7,400
* Total for cages: $34,700
* Additional room renovations: approximately $10,000
Our overall goal is approximately $44,700 to upgrade both rooms, including installing vinyl flooring, and sealing walls to make the spaces easier to disinfect and sanitize properly.
We know this is a big ask. As a 100% volunteer-run rescue, every dollar we spend comes from the generosity of people who believe that every cat deserves a chance at a healthier, safer life.

This isn’t just about buying cages. It’s about creating a safer environment, improving disease prevention, and protecting the cats who depend on us every single day.
