CATS is a volunteer-based non-profit (registered charity) cat rescue, located in the Comox Valley. We advocate for and rescue lost and relocated cats, rescue stray and feral cats in need, monitor remote locations, help to reunite cats with their owners and provide loving homes or barn homes when needed.

To promote the welfare of animals for the benefit of the public by : Offering educational materials and workshops, rescuing cats that are lost, stray, abandoned, abused, or surrendered, managing an adoption program, and conducting spaying or neutering procedures for domestic pets, feral animals, and stray animals.

Another incredible night of rescue! Our amazing team brought in 7 more kittens from the massive colony we’re working to save, bringing the total rescued so far to 27 cats and kittens. ❤️
But our work is far from over. There are still 40–50 more cats and kittens waiting to be rescued, including several very pregnant girls who desperately need our help.
Your support and generosity throughout this rescue effort has been nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you for standing beside us. Because of you, these precious cats are getting the chance they deserve; a safe future, loving care, and a second chance at a quality life.

Meet the newly-available litter featuring 4 extremely well-mannered kittens: Dash, Dill, Dusty, and Dandy.
These four kittens have won over the hearts of their foster, boasting a fantastic temperament and cuddly personalities!

Rescue Alert: We Need Your Help
When a rural property owner reached out asking for help with a colony of 40–70 cats and kittens, there was only one answer we could give:
“Yes, we’ll help.”
On Sunday, four tiny kittens arrived safely at CATS Rescue. Tonight, our incredible trapping team rescued another nine kittens. Every one of them deserves a chance at a healthy, happy life.
But this is just the beginning.
There are still 40 to 60 more cats and kittens waiting to be rescued from this one property. Each will need veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, food, shelter, and lots of love before they can find their forever indoor homes.
At the same time, we’re also helping another rural property with several more cats, and we’ve agreed to take in two heartbreaking owner surrenders after their guardian entered palliative care.
This is what CATS Rescue does. When cats have nowhere else to turn, we step up.
Now, we’re asking our community to stand with us.
Caring for all of these cats will cost more than $20,000. As a 100% volunteer-run charity, every dollar goes directly toward giving these animals the second chance they deserve.
If you’re able to make a donation, no matter the amount, you’ll be helping provide medical care, nutritious food, safe shelter, and the opportunity for each of these cats to begin a new life filled with love, security, and hope. And, as we are a registered charity, you will receive a donation tax receipt for every donation given.
