Meet Blake
Blake was born outside, one of many kittens who struggle to survive in the elements. For the first year of his life, he knew only the land—finding shelter where he could, searching for food, and avoiding dangers at every turn. But despite his tough start, Blake had a friendly heart. He longed for safety, warmth, and a place where he didn’t have to fight to survive.
When we rescued Blake, it didn’t take long for him to show his true personality. The moment he realized he was safe, he let out the biggest purrs, as if thanking us for giving him a second chance. He quickly embraced the comforts of indoor life—soft beds, regular meals, and endless pets. Though he’s still learning about personal space, his love for attention is undeniable. He enjoys spending time with his shelter mates and has a playful, curious nature.
Now, Blake is ready for his next big adventure: finding a forever home. He would love a family that will cherish him, continue to guide him with patience, and give him all the love he’s been waiting for. In return, he promises to be a devoted, affectionate companion who will fill his new home with warmth, purrs, and plenty of personality.
Could you be the one to give Blake the forever home he deserves?
Sir Blake has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.
If you’re interested in Blake or have any questions about them, please send a message to TheCatAdvocates@gmail.com. We recieve many applications for our cats and kittens and cannot always reply to everyone. Only chosen applicants will be contacted. Please be patient; response times may vary as we are all volunteers.
CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.
For more information, see click here
Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.
Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.
Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
15+ years – TBD
