Linus is a timid fellow who is quick to remove himself from human contact… most of the time.  Sometimes his curiosity gets the better of him and he can’t resist coming in to see what is happening and to reach out a paw for a quick whap (no claws!) to test the waters.  Linus does enjoy playing with all the toys, especially the string toy… he is a master jumper and shows no restraint when playing.

After being born in the wild and spending their first formative weeks without human contact, these 7 kittens were brought to the safety of first the shelter and then a foster home.  They presented as semi-feral initially, instinctively trying to hide and shunning people interactions.  With much gentle engagement in the past month, these young kittens have learned to trust people more, and some are even seeking out pets and contact on their own, while others still need some coaxing.  Over time their trust and enjoyment with humans should continue to develop, and throughout the whole time in foster they have always shown a deep bond with each other.

Linus has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

Being a kitten, if not adopted with a sibling, priority will be given to applicants with another feline already in the home.

CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.
