Meet Roxy
Roxy is the tiniest of her litter but don’t be swayed, she is tough! She loves to play rough with her brothers, climb high and growl as she keeps the fake mice and cat toys away from her siblings. The other prize is the very long tassle off of the cat fishing rod which she drags away and slowly up the stairs.
Roxy has very unique peach and grey markings and a very soft coat; she purrs frequently, usually immediately upon picking her up. She loves to run around and play but equally will settle for some long naps stretched out in the cat post or near you for some warmth. She loves the belly rubs and ear scratches. She frequently checks in with her humans and makes the odd squeak here and there trying to talk.
Roxy is a lady in the litter box and frequently uses the cardboard scratcher. She has been around a 90lb gentle dog, her foster sister, without hesitation. She is still a little uncertain of very small loud toddlers, but kids over 6 have been fine.
Roxy will make a sweet companion who checks in on you and your activities, as well as interested in lots of play. She is a sweetheart, a rough and tussle girl, curious and kind, the full package!
Roxy has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.
If you’re interested in Roxy or have any questions about them, please send a message to [email protected]. We recieve many applications for our cats and kittens and cannot always reply to everyone. Only chosen applicants will be contacted. Please be patient; response times may vary as we are all volunteers.
CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.
For more information, see click here
Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.
Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.
Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
15+ years – TBD
