Meet Silas

Silas is about 10 years old and is a gentle old soul. He spent the first nine years of life living as a community cat that neighbors cared for. He decided he had enough of that lifestyle and entered one of the homes limping. They called us and we scooped him up and took him to the vet who proclaimed he was not limping, was healthy and the sweetest most gentle cat ever seen! Smart boy. He knew what to do to come in and enter retirement life.

Silas is calm, sweet and politely asks for attention. He adores being petted and wants nothing more than to be with a human and be spoiled.

Silas has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

We recieve many applications for our cats and kittens and cannot always reply to everyone. Only chosen applicants will be contacted. Please be patient; response times may vary as we are all volunteers.

CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
15+ years – TBD
