Meet Walker

Walker and his 2 siblings had a hard start to life, losing their mama to a traumatic dog encounter. In spite of that, or maybe a little because of it, they have formed one of the strongest trio bonds we’ve ever seen.

Walker is the “class clown” of the trio, Mr Happy-Go-Lucky who is always in a jolly mood. Whether romping around with his siblings, participating in a group grooming session, or snuggled on a lap all tangled up with his siblings, Walker always is quick to purr and lights up the room with his goofy self.

Once the romping around is out of their systems, Walker will call out to his humans while on the search for lap to snuggle into. Like his sister Wisteria, Walker also has extra toes, and biscuit making is his specialty! If he notices one of his siblings in a lap, Walker is quick to insert himself right in there (usually flops right ontop!).

Because of their traumatic experience, unfortunately absolutely no dogs in the home for these loves.

Ideally, we would love to see them adopted as a trio, but if needing to pick a pair, Wisteria & Walker should stick together, as Wilder has a bit more independence than the other two and would adjust easier to another playmate if needed.

Walker has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

If you’re interested in Walker or have any questions about them, please send a message to TheCatAdvocates@gmail.com. We recieve many applications for our cats and kittens and cannot always reply to everyone. Only chosen applicants will be contacted. Please be patient; response times may vary as we are all volunteers.

CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

For more information, see click here

Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.

Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.

Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
15+ years – TBD

Hi Future Owner!

I can’t wait to meet you! I’ve been dreaming about the day when we’ll finally cross paths. I promise to be the purr-fect companion you’ve always wanted. I’ll greet you with gentle head bumps and soothing purrs, and I’ll curl up in your lap whenever you need a cuddle. Together, we’ll embark on endless adventures in the world of feathered toys and sunlit windowsills. I’ll be your loyal confidant, your midnight entertainer, and your fluffy shoulder to lean on. I hope you’re as excited as I am to start this paws-itively wonderful journey together!

Love, Walker
