Briar is still getting comfortable in our shelter environment as she waits for her forever home. She is a shy girl who will take time settling into any home she finds herself in but given time, love, and patience she is sure to make a beloved addition to your family. Despite her cautious nature, Briar enjoys gentle pets, treats, and toys.

Briar has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.

Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.

Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
