Meet Damien!
Damien is a stunning 4-year-old boy who has come a long way from his rough start in life. For years he had to fend for himself outdoors, always on alert—but now, he’s learning the joys of a safe home, soft beds, and loving company.
This handsome guy is extra special—he has heterochromia (two different colored eyes), which makes him truly one of a kind.
What Damien loves:
• Mealtime (he never leaves a crumb—he’ll thrive with a simple diet plan!)
• Playing with toys—he’s easily distracted by anything that moves
• Sleeping soundly through the night, sometimes curled up on the bed with his foster
• Lounging on the couch and hanging out with his people
• Quiet company—he’s an easygoing boy who doesn’t mind visitors
Good to know about Damien:
• He uses the litter box perfectly
• Doesn’t scratch furniture
• Has done great with free run of the house
• Okay being left alone
• Can be picked up and even has his nails clipped (with a little teamwork!)
• Still working on trusting hands fully—he may swat occasionally, but never with claws
Damien is a gentle, low-key companion looking for a forever home that understands his past and will give him the patience and love he deserves. He’s already blossoming and will continue to shine with the right family.
Damien has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.
If you’re interested in Damien (Adoption Pending) or have any questions about them, please send a message to [email protected]. We recieve many applications for our cats and kittens and cannot always reply to everyone. Only chosen applicants will be contacted. Please be patient; response times may vary as we are all volunteers.
CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.
For more information, see click here
Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.
Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.
Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year – $300
Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
15+ years – TBD
