Meet Gabi

Gabi is a sweet little Black house panther, that has some trust issues due to her previous life, but is so appreciative of pets, loving, brushing and play time. She loves being brushed, and will lay down to alert you to her scheduled brushing time. She has good litter box habits, and does not overeat – she grazes well on her kibble, and appreciates snacks too. Her little meow is a quiet greeting in the morning, or when she’s asking for attention.

She would be well suited for a townhouse or condo, as she has not been a big explorer in the house. She loves watching Cat TV ( birds, squirrels, fish) although her Foster family thinks she is a bit confused why they disappear off the edge of the screen.

She can be timid of loud noises or unexpected commotion, but with reassurance from her human, she’s adapting to the “new/unexpected” better each time.

Gabi is easy going, and is easy to trim her nails. While not the biggest fan of being picked up, she tolerates it for shorter stints, and gets more comfortable with the idea of being up high with each pickup.

Gabi has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year – $250
Adults, 1-10 years – $200
Adults, 10-15 years – $150
15+ years – TBD
