Laverne and Shirley are sweet and shy bonded sisters, about two years old.

These girls have good potential to warm up to their special person. They’ll need some extra time to get comfortable with their new family.

The girls have the sweetest bond, where one goes, the other follows. Shirley is very playful; loving to throw her toys around, and playing with kitten-like enthusiasm. Laverne is a little shyer than Shirley, letting her sister take the lead in testing the waters before joining in the fun.

We’re looking for a quiet home for these girls with patient adopters willing to let them adjust at their own pace. They had a hard start to life, so it takes time to earn their trust. While they may never be the typical lap cats, they enjoy their trusted people around them. Laverne and Shirley would be best in a home either without children or with older children, and without dogs.

Laverne & Shirley have received preventative flea and worm treatments.

Laverne and Shirley were two girls who came to us together in a state of terror. They had gone through a lot and weren’t sure if they could trust the new humans in their lives. However, since being in our care, they have made tremendous progress and are now much more comfortable with human interactions.

CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.
