Max is a handsome 6 year old Cream Point Siamese boy who would love to find a gentle, quiet and loving family to call his own.  He can be a bit of a scaredy cat with new people, but once he knows you, he loves to follow you around and carries on conversations with his people.

Max’s favourite games include: play attacking your feet under the covers, chasing anything string-like, including your hoodie strings and boot straps, and playing with his catnip mouse on the stairs. Max loves to watch you work on the computer from his blanket on the desk, curl up in your lap on the couch with a happy purr, and explore new places with you (like the basement). Max occasionally needs gentle reminding (and redirecting) not to scratch the carpet  on the stairs as this is his favourite spot to play with his toys.

In typical Siamese-style, Max is often noisy at night with his meowing and self-chatter so he would not be a good fit for light sleepers. Once Max decides he is ready, he tucks in at the foot of your bed, and tends to sleep through  the night. Max is very well behaved. He is pretty good about not getting under foot, doesn’t jump on the kitchen counter, and doesn’t have a lot of interest in sneaking outside.

Max is a big boy, so he prefers a large litter box. He is a very clean and respectful litter box-user.  Max is very scared of little kids and rambunctious behaviour, so would best suit a home with no children.

Max has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.
