Chess and Checkers are 8-month-old Lynx Point brother and sister with gentle hearts and a beautiful bond.
A little shy and cautious at first, these two just need a bit of time to feel safe. Once they realize they can trust you, they quickly melt into happy, purring companions who enjoy gentle pets and quiet affection.

Found alone on a remote property, Chess and Checkers had to rely on each other to survive. Because of that, they share a special connection and truly need to stay together. They’re looking for a patient home willing to give them a small, calm space to settle in and move at their own pace.
With understanding and kindness, you’ll watch them blossom into sweet, devoted companions. If you have a soft spot for shy kitties and the patience to let love grow, Chess and Checkers are ready to find the safe, forever home they deserve.

Chess & Checkers have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments.

CATS has a Trial Adoption program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.

Please note we do not adopt kittens on their own. They must be adopted in pairs or you must have a young cat already in the home as a mate.

Adults, 1-10 years – $225
Adults, 10-15 years – $175
